For us, it is a given that every child with obesity has the right to receive help and support. Our vision is that all children and families should have the opportunity to shape a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. We achieve this with digi-physical care.

We combine digital and physical care to create the best conditions for your specific situation. This creates opportunities for flexibility for both patients and practitioners that were not possible before, and enables high-quality care even when distances are great. We work closely with researchers, patients, and practitioners to drive both technological development and treatment concepts, constantly improving what we do.

Founded on research

Evira is a medical technology company with strong roots in science and technology.

The concept and platform have been developed in collaboration with leading researchers from Karolinska Institutet and with connections to the Royal Institute of Technology (Kungliga Tekniska högskolan) in Stockholm.

The platform, concept, and method have been validated in clinical studies over several years with fantastic results.

    • Expansion to 10 new clinics in Sweden
    • Further product development and clinic launch

  6. 2023

    • Expansion to 18 clinics in Sweden
    • Presence in three regions in Sweden
    • First clinic trained in the UK

  7. 2024

    • Expansion to 20 clinics in Sweden
    • Evira used at 7 clinics in the UK
    • The Evira team grows and employee count doubles

  8. 2025

    • Expansion to 23 clinics in Sweden
    • Clinics in four regions in Sweden
    • Evira used at 20 clinics in the UK (Sept 2025)

  9. 2026

    • Started by offering privately funded care through Evira Vikthälsa to adults and children who do not have access to good care in their region
    • 1 commercial clinic in Norway started using Evira in clinical practice

The team behind Evira

Evira is an interdisciplinary company where technology, research, and clinical everyday life develop together. We combine engineering expertise from KTH, research from Karolinska Institutet, and extensive experience in treatment within paediatric and adult care.

We work in close collaboration with healthcare providers, researchers, and families. This means that the platform, treatment concept, and method are continuously developed based on real needs and scientific evidence.
